Can you tell us a little about you?
I'm a 20 year old model living in Brussels.  I have four tattoos and  two piercings in my nose.  I'm a currently studying chemistry in a university.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?
I've always wanted to have a different eye colour, being naturally dark blond I think blue or green eyes would've been a lot better than brown !

How did you start modeling?
When I was about 16 years old, I participated in a contest to become a supermodel.  I really liked doing it, I met some great people and I gained a lot of experience from it.  I actually won the public prize and flew to the Caribbeans with the other winners to have professional photoshoots.  That's when I started to really take an interest in modeling and photography.

What do you think of the work as a model?
I think it's quite difficult.  Sometimes you have to keep a very uncomfortable pose for a long time and still be focused on the expression on your face.
Also, modeling is not just posing for photographers, it requiers a lot of self-involvement if you don't work with a whole team.  And even with a makeup artist and a stylist, I think it is always best to come up with some ideas of your own, maybe the team will like them.
What I love most though is being able to turn myself into different characters and becoming them for the time of the photoshoot.

What is your beauty regimen?
I don't really have a specific “beauty” schedule but I do go to the gym with a good friend of mine whenever we can.  Also I take great care of my hair because I love having beautiful flashy colours like purple and pink.

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?
I try to do a lot of different projects and I'm often told that many styles suit me well.

What are your plans for the future?
For the nearest future I'll try to make more “Fine Art” projects with photographers that I greatly admire.

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?
I recently did a photoshoot with one of my favorite photographers, Laura Sheridan's Art, a wonderful makeup artist, Kika von Macabre, and used chest- and headpieces made by Hysteria Machine.  I had the most amazing time, I met these incredible women and have killer shots ! I've always wanted to do a dark fine art themed photoshoot and having done with this team was really one of the best experiences I've had.
Also, I went to Paris to have a photoshoot with Nilakantha and Keandana Creations, it was the first time I ever got out of Belgium for a shoot ! I love both their work so much it was an amazing experience and one I will gladly repeat.

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?
Be careful to which photographer you give your trust to, always try to have other opinions about him or her.  And don't be afraid to say no if you don't want to do or don't like something.

What do you think of the magazine?
I think it's a great magazine, I've discovered some great artists thanks to it !
It features both experienced and less experienced photographers or models and that's what makes it different from other similar magazines.
