Can you tell us a little about you?

My name is Polina Pavlikova. I was born in Saint-Petersburg, now I am based in Paris. I work as a model and a stylist. Now I am also working on my first collection of dresses with my friend Karina Pak.

 

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?

Hmmm… Actually don't know. Maybe be less critic to myself?

 

How did you start modeling?

I was working as a stylist in Saint-Petersburg. One day photographers just started to ask me be their model. I love to feel myself as part of a team. As a stylist I like to give some story to our picture. As a model I am happy to give my energy to the photo.

 

What do you think of the work as a model?

I think it is a difficult work. Firstly, you should control yourself. Have a good skin, body shape. Be always positive and energetic. Be ready to work long time on shootings and don't complain if it is cold) Secondly, and it is the most important, you need to know how to give your personality to a picture. And there is no real recipe for it)

 

What is your beauty regimen?

I try to drink a lot of water and don't miss running)

 

What are your personal qualities which distinguish you from others?

Hmmm… I don't know) I prefer people look at my work and judge that distinguish me from the others))

 

What are your plans for the future?

I want to be the best version of myself as I can. In all fields. I want to express me in design of clothes as well. I want one day to make a dress in which woman will feel herself beautiful. Or even happy. That is more important and precious.

 

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?

All my experience that I really appreciate is emotional. For example, shootings give me often a lot of emotions. It is an opportunity to act and fell myself someone else.

 

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

I try to look at magazines and understand that is in trend now. Of course, find your own personality and practice as much as possible are important. Not only on shootings. Even selfies and mirror will help.
