How and when did you get into photography?
-I got to know Photography in School at extra classes. Back then it was very practical lessons. Processing Film and about Camera construction and function. the moment you develop your film and see the result slowly appear on Paper - I still process analog films and still have my Canon AE-1 from then.

-It´s a lot of things to me. The intimate passion Model and Photographer share is electrifying to me.

Please briefly describe your photography style for our readers.
-i do many many things basically against all rules of classic photography and do not follow rational rules. Most of my best Shots happen by instinct.

Where do you get inspiration from?
-I observe a lot. I am constantly looking for something in faces i see everyday. Also Nature and ordinary interactions between people, in Cafes, Bars, Supermarkets…

Think you in advance what you want in the picture?
-I have a vague idea before i meet a model but like mentioned above i follow my instinct. This is a key aspect of my photography because i want to be flexible and open for an occurring opportunity.

Studio, on location or both?
-on Location. Working in studios is something i just don't have strong feelings for.

Would you consider yourself a hobbyist or a paid professional?
-i am a paid hobbyist

-i am so lucky i can say there were far more than just one very memorable session. But one of my most special sessions was with my ex Girlfriend. We haven´t met since years. This was one of the most intimate connections i have experienced when shooting.

What is one piece of advice you would like to offer a new photographer looking to start their own business?
-Be organized, continously develop your skills and find your own style. Don't hesitate to make clear your work is worth getting paid.

What has been the biggest source of inspiration in your work?
-It´s simply the person i shoot.

Nikon or Canon? Favorite lens?
-Sony
