Can you tell us a little about you?
Hi my name is Kariné Ohanian aka kéyoh. I am a singer/Song writer , model/actress. Born in Armenia and raised in Belgium. Right now I am engaged with the love of my life and still leaving my dreams.

If you could change anything about yourself, what would it be?
Right at this moment nothing at all. If you asked me the same question 10 years ago I might have answered differently, or 10 years later ( laughing )

 

How did you start modeling?
People kept telling me how tall and photogenic I was. So I took my chance to try modeling and by chance I met Peter Van Poucke who took my first best pictures.

What do you think of the work as a model?
Modeling has always been my passion and it will not change. I think it's a great way of expressing your emotions. I love to meet new people and I
like to see my face changing because of make up and different styles of
clothing.

What is your beauty regimen?
I like to have my 8 hours sleep and I'm always spoiled with the delicious Armenian food of my mother and grandmother. That's pretty much my secret.

 

What are your plans for the future?
My future is in the hand of God. I don't like to plan anything. But I have hopes, dreams and wishes. And so far I'm very thankful and happy with what I have and curious of what is waiting for me in the future.

 

What are some of your favorite experiences so far?
I have so many great experiences that I can not choose one. But if I really have to choose than it will be the fact that I finally fell in love.

 

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?
Don't do anything that doesn't make you happy. Don't let people force you to do things you don't like. Be passionate about your work and focus on your
goals. This is not only in modeling but in anything you do in life.

When ModellenLand asked me to pose for the cover of the magazine, I felt really honored and agreed immediately. Because this cover is the first cover of 2016 and the fact that I was able to work with Phil Tubbax and Peter Van Poucke was another excitement. The experience was amazing. We had the chance to do the Photoshoot in the number one hotel of Belgium STEIGENBERGER WILTCHER‘S and we could stay for a day in the Royal suit where only presidents and stars usually stay. I am very exited to see the results but very sure that the pictures will look amazing. My make up artist who is mostly doing all my make up ( Nelly Make up) did an amazing job and her work is always like art. She keeps me natural but still with a touch of glamour.
